Why I Love to Drum

I played electric bass for years and know what it's like to lock in with a good drummer. I never even tried to play any kind of drum until I started taking Djembe lessons about four years ago.

I fell in love with the joyful, exuberant and uninhibited mix of dancing and drumming that has its roots in Africa.

When everyone is locked in with their individual parts it creates a magical state of joy, happiness and excitement. Makes you want to dance too.
